Project  01 (Intro Students) Due 9-06 - Light/Shadow and the Frame. In this assignment, students will use natural light to explore how light falls on objects creating shadow.

1. Turn your camera to Black and White.

2. Pay special attention to how you frame your content.

3. Think of light and shadow as graphic shapes.

4. Compose each image following the composition strategies we discussed in class.

5. Come into class with 50 new Light/Shadow images Wednesday

6. Grading for the project will be based on effective use of composition strategies plus use of light and shadow as design elements.
