Objects of Life / Artificial Light

Objects of Life will be an investigation of possible narratives embedded in the objects of life. What stories can be revealed, designed, and challenged from the artifacts and objects of society, culture, economy, and even myth?
For Objects of Life, students will create a still life photo project utilizing artificial studio light. Students will develop a control of the studio lighting process while exploring what narratives, stories, histories, metaphors, and concepts of place can be revealed through this project? This project will also engage the digital printing process.
1) Identify and present possible objects to work within this project ( focus on items that have not been solely designed as commercial objects. Think tools, foods, plants.)
2) Start studio lighting photo process
